What’s New in qubeCLOUD Version 3.0.0?
Version 3.0.0 marks a new era for qubeCLOUD, introducing a streamlined interface, advanced device and user management, and seamless integration with qubePLAN.
General Improvements
The latest update introduces a wide range of improvements focused on enhancing usability and functionality. The user interface has been modernized and now offers an optional Dark Mode, significantly improving visual comfort and accessibility. In addition, the device overview and activation process have been optimized, making equipment management considerably easier. The role management system now allows user permissions to be set with much greater granularity, ensuring precisely tailored access. With full integration of qubeCLOUD into qubePLAN, workflows are now seamlessly connected across the platform.
Home
On the homepage, dashboard cards can now be flexibly adapted and rearranged, allowing the interface to be tailored to individual workflows. Users are able to activate new devices independently, which supports a more efficient onboarding process. Support tickets can be created directly from the dashboard so that requests can be processed more quickly. Upcoming license expirations are clearly displayed, ensuring organizations always remain compliant. Additionally, the responsible sales partner is shown to make direct contact easier.
Devices & Organization
For organizational administration, user permissions can now be configured in detail to perfectly match team structures and specific tasks. New users can be added either by selecting a predefined role, copying an existing user profile, or assigning custom permissions. Searching for users and devices is possible by both name and license number, which enhances administrative efficiency. Devices from previous software versions are labeled as “Legacy License,” while those activated from version 3.0 onward are clearly differentiated. Devices can also be renamed and license keys added to support transparent management at all times.
SimConfig
Within SimConfig—formerly known as “Simulation Content and Settings”—settings are now displayed only for simulators with a valid license, which reduces complexity for users. Features currently in development are indicated by an orange “i,” keeping users informed about upcoming enhancements.
Education Center
The Education Center provides access to a variety of eLearning content supporting ongoing training and development. There are also direct links to user training for qubeSERIE and to the new Knowledge Base, making self-directed learning easier than ever.
Scenarios
Scenario creation has been significantly simplified, with the scenario editor now offering tab navigation for each section, which not only improves clarity but also streamlines the editing process.
